avalou: I KNOW MY GOD CAN DO IT

Guest: I Know My God Can Do It

1. Three Hebrew boys were thrown,
into the fire.
Because before the King,
they would not bow.
But they said listen King,
let it be known.
We serve a living,
God we're not alone.

Cho. Well, I know my God can do it,
to Him there's nothing to it.
I know He'll see you through it,
sweet victory.
Well, even when storms are raging,
He is the Rock of Agers.
I know that He is able,
mighty is He.

2. They marched around the walls,
of Jericho.
They knew the walls woul fall,
God told them so.
Just like He worked for them,
He's working now.
My God will never change,
He has great pow'r.

Guest: Dear Guest (above posting by dlarry),

I am happy that I have helped you in finding the words of the hymn! I have this wonderful hymn book "Parochial Hymn Book" that is where the hymn first makes its appearance and a great many other hymns to Mary to be sung during the month of May and at other times. In the original versions there are a great many other verses which have now been cut out in modern hymn books and the great May hymn "Bring flowers of the rarest" has originally 6 verses and a chorus to be sung during the month of May and a chorus to be sung during the rest of the year. Please do not hesitate (or anyone else for that matter) to contact me by email if there is another older hymn you wish to find again that does not appear in the modern hymn books - both words and music - and I shall do my very best to help.

jubilee: today may be the last time we have a chance to pray

niki: are you looking for a song with the chorus...

this could be your last chance to find Jesus. this could be your last chance to pray. Tomorrow it could be to late for praying, and the coming of the Lord could be today?

If so, I have the rest of the words.

BayDean: I Remember When McKameys

daisyc40: I heard of Jesus many years ago. How he became flesh and dwelled here below.
Then I heard that he died so I could be born again. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth I remember when.

I remember when he saved my soul. I remember when he made me whole. How he gave me peace within when he took away all my sins and when he pulled me from the miry clay set my feet on the rock to stay. No matter how you phrase it or how you want to say it I remember when.

There's nothing greater in this old world Than knowing Jesus as my savior and lord. To all who receive him and believe in his name You'll have eternal life and become his child can you remember when.
