I am looking for a song with the lyrics that begin:

Heat that furnace seven times hotter the wicked king did say
Shadrach Mechach Abednego are gonna have to pay.

more lyrics include:
They didn't bend They didn't bow..

I cannot remember the rest...
It is an upbeat Southern Gospel style.
Thanks

Here are four different songs..... hopefully one of them is the one you are looking for. God Bless.

Four in  the fire

His name was Nebuchannezzer, and he has a story for you,
Back when he was king he saw the strangest thing,
You’ll think it is impossible, but it is true
Well there were three Hebrew children who would not bow down to him
So a furnace was prepared and he threw them all in there
When he look into the flames he cried, now how can this be??
Look at this there’s ONE……TWO……THREE……

FOUR in the fire looking safe and sound,
Four in the fire up and walkin round
There God had sent an angel to set his children free
There were four in the fire
And they only threw in threeee
OHHHHHH WELL WELLL

That fire was seven times hotter
Than it had ever been before
It even killed the men the threw the Hebrews in
Before they had the time to shut the furnace door
That king was never so frightened,
He ordered the captives set free
He knew without a doubt when only three came out
This would be remembered down through history
For…there…..were….

FOUR in the fire looking safe and sound,
Four in the fire up and walkin round
There God had sent an angel to set his children free
There were four in the fire
And they only threw in threeee

So if you ever needed a witness, brother let me testify
His power is a mighty thing, I now for I have seen him work miracles right before my very eyes OHH…there…..were….

FOUR in the fire looking safe and sound,
Four in the fire up and walkin round
There God had sent an angel to set his children free
There… were… four in the fire
And they only threw in ONE…. TWO… THREE

Fourth man in the fire

Here is a story from the Good Book we know
A story 'bout a miracle that happened long ago
We hope that you'll take courage when temptation you meet
There's somebody watchin' you who's strong when you're weak.

Chorus:
They wouldn't bend
They held onto the will of God so we are told
They wouldn't bow
They would not bow their knees to the idol made of gold
They wouldn't burn
They were protected by the fourth man in the fire
They wouldn't bend, they wouldn't bow
They wouldn't burn.

Now the prophet Daniel tells about three men who walked with God
Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego before the wicked king they stood
And the King commanded them bound and thrown
In the firey furnace that day.
But the fire was so hot that the men were slain
That forced them on their way.
Now when the three were cast in and the King rose up to witness this awful fate
He began to tremble at what he saw, and in astonished tones he spake.

Did we not cast three men bound into the midst a' that fire?
For lo, I see four men unhurt, unbound and walkin' down there
There's Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego in the firey coals they trod
And the form of the fourth man that I see is like the Son of God.

Did we not cast three men bound into the midst a' that fire?
For lo, I see four men unhurt, unbound and walkin' down there
There's Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego in the firey coals they trod
And the form of the fourth man that I see is like the Son of God.

Chorus:
They wouldn't bend
They held onto the will of God so we are told
They wouldn't bow
They would not bow their knees to the idol made of gold
They wouldn't burn
They were protected by the fourth man in the fire
They wouldn't bend, they wouldn't bow
They wouldn't burn.

Chorus:
They wouldn't bend
They held onto the will of God so we are told
They wouldn't bow
They would not bow their knees to the idol made of gold
They wouldn't burn
They were protected by the fourth man in the fire
They wouldn't bend, they wouldn't bow
They wouldn't burn.

Chorus:
They wouldn't bend
They held onto the will of God so we are told
They wouldn't bow
They would not bow their knees to the idol made of gold
They wouldn't burn
They were protected by the fourth man in the fire
They wouldn't bend, they wouldn't bow
They wouldn't burn...

He's still in the fire

My mama read a story
from the bible long ago
About Shadrack, Meshack and old Abednego
How the wicked king commanded
they be thrown into the flame
Because they would not bow
and then deny their Father's name

Mama said the king stood high
upon a balcony so tall
When he looked in
he was shocked by all the things he saw
'Cause he thought that he would find them
lying dead upon the ground
but instead of three he counted four
up walking all around

Then I said Mama,
wait a minute there's one thing that I must know
if three went in and three came out
then where'd that fourth man go

And I never will forget it
Mama danced across the floor
These are the words I heard her say
while shouting thru the door

She said he's, still in the fire
and he's walking in the flame
and he'll be there to help you
when you call upon His name
And he can still deliver
by his almighty power
While here below
it's good to know
He's still in the fire

He's still in the fire

Now my friend you may be destined
to face life's hottest flame
But I'm glad that I can tell you
Thru the power of His name
Not one flame of fire will touch you
you'll come thru it and you'll tell
Yesterday, today, forever
God is still alive and well

I said he's still in the fire and he's
walking in the flame
And he'll be there to help you when you
call upon his name
And he can still deliver
by his almighty power
While here below it's good to know
he's still in the fire.

While here below
it's good to know
He's still in the fire!

FOURTH MAN WALKING

1. Let me remind you of a story, shall I tell it once more,
'Twas a wicked king, a burning fire and three Hebrew boys.
Now the king had formed an idol, shining image of gold,
Three refused to bow and, so the story goes on,
How they cast 'em in the fire, how they numbered them again.
Now does my vision fail me? There's an unaccounted man.
CHORUS:

There was a fourth man walking in the midst of the fire, likened to the living Son of God.
Behold He has freed the Hebrew three and walks where feet of men have never trod.
For I see Shadrach walking in the midst of the burning furnace, Meshach strolling while the flames were rolling,
And old Abed-Nego I see, and that makes up the three, but there's a 4th. man walking, who is He?

2. You say you're walking in the fire and it's burning your feet
I know One who'll walk beside you, Lord, His presence is sweet.
And even thought the fire's raging, flames of doubt leaping high
Just take a look, you'll find Him standing there by your side.
Always there in time of trouble with deliverance in His hand.
I think I know exactly who the 4th. man is.

CHORUS:

Heat that furnace seven times hotter were the words of the wicked king,
Bow or burn he told the people, and he called some by name,
Shadrach, Mechack, Abedneigo wouldn't bend, bow or burn
Jesus was a hedge all the way around them in the midst of that flaming room.

Oh, I've got a hedge built all the way around me, and I cannot fail the Lord,
I've found a hiding place in Jesus, and I'm sheltered from the storm,
When old Satan tries to tempt me, the Lord won't let him in.
I've got a hedge built all the way around me, & I know I'm free from sin.

Poor ole Job lost all his riches, and everything he had,
Houses and land, cattle, and children, Job was feeling so bag.
Even his wife tried to convince him he ought to curse God and die,
But God built a hedge all the way around him, & it reached up to the sky.

Here is another verse:

Daniel was a man who loved his maker and he prayed three times a day
God would open up the windows of heaven just to hear what Daniel had to say
So they took that humble servant of The Lord and they threw him in the lion's den
But God built a hedge all the way around him and He made those lions his friends.

Chorus again
