I'm looking for the lyrics to
Look for me at Jesus feet.
I believe it was wrote by Mosie Lister.  Part of the chorus mentions
Don't look by the gates of pearl,
don't look on the streets of Gold
don't look by the wall of jasper

I appreciate the help.

Here is your song:
Words and Music by Squire Parson, Jr.
V-1
If I leave this world of sorrow sometime before you do,
Just look for me in heaven and we'll talk the ages thru;
But if, at first, you fail to see me, let me tell you where I'll be,
I'll be thanking Christ, my Savior, for saving a wretch like me.

CHORUS
Don't look 'neath the gates of pearl, don't look on the streets of gold,
Don't look by the walls of jasper, nor among the many sights untold;
For I've been longing and I've been waiting for the precius, holy One to meet,
There I'll be thru the countless ages, look for me at Jesus' feet.

V-2
But if you should reach that city before my time has come,
Perhaps you'd like to greet me when my race down here is run;
Just wait, for I'll soon be coming across life's ebbing sea,
And I'll tell you now, my brother, just where to wait for me.

CHORUS
Don't wait 'neath the gates of pearl, don't wait on the streets of gold,
Don't wait by the walls of jasper, nor among the many sites untold;
For I've been longing and I've been waiting for the precious, holy One to meet,
There I'll be thru the countless ages, wait for me at Jesus' feet.

Does anyone know where I can find the sheet music to this song online? Now that we have the words above, I need the music for my piano player. I have to sing this song for my grandmothers funeral this friday and I can't seem to find the music anywhere. By the way, thanks Karen for posting the words! You're a God send!

Thanks,
Rhonda

This song means so much right now, as I just lost a dear friend with a battle of cancer. I just could picture him just like my mother and father when they went before us. God bless Robbie's family for the loss of their father

I haven't found the piano sheet music either.  You who play by hear, pitch it in the key of C and listen to the Booth Brothers sing it a few times and you have it.  Good Luck!    Edith

I sang it last Sunday during our worsip service in Key of C & my pianist does play by ear.  It's a brilliant song because it builds...right up to Jesus' Feet!  Amen!!

I  heard the song for the first time today. I was in the  car listening to a christen channel, and they played it I started to cry. It moved me so much. I know it was my Holy Spirit. When I got home I was looking for the words to it too. Oh what a wonderful feeling.

i have listened to some artists sing look for me at Jesus feet. But the booth brothers are standing way higher with the way its done, the passion and love they put into it. You know they mean it. I have been sick for 14 years now, and i would not mind if people can sing it at my funeral. Do we have to get permission from swuore parsons who wrote iT.
