The name of the song is Funeral Plans.

Here's a link to her bebo page - http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=4691 ...

Here's the song on youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=za4p1-K-f1Y

Funeral Plans

Between the pages of an old family Bible,
I found dates of births, deaths and old revivals.
I came upon a page...it was written by a feeble hand.
It said,"This is my last request and these are my funeral plans."

(Chorus)
When I die let me die speaking in tongues. Let it ring in my ears all of them songs I've song. Lord give me the strength to praise You, speak Your name one more time. Then let your angels carry me over to the other side.

Lord I've lived a long life...now my race is run.
I can't wait to leave here. I've got nothing left undone.
I've got everything in order. Tell my children not to cry.
I've left them a road map and they can meet me in the bye and bye.

Go tell my friends and neighbors not to weep for me.
I'm gonna live forever. I've finally been set free.
Tell 'em not to mourn or to miss me when I'm gone.
They can shout all around my graveside 'cause that ain't my
final home.

Love this song. If you can't feel something when this song is playing I think you may be gone on.

At my church we always played it in a minor to give it that jazzy bluse feel. I rock from the E to the B on the bass hand hitting the Em inbetween to make it kind of bounce.

Em                                      Am.               Em
Between the pages of an old family Bible
                  Em.                        B7      (walk up bass B C# Eb E)
I found dates of births deaths and old revivals
      Em.                     .               Am                           Em
I came upon a page. It was written by a feeble hand
               Em.                                         B7
It said this is my last request and these are my funeral
Em
plans

Chorus
Em.                        Am.                            Em.
When I die let me die speaking in tongues
Em                       B7        (bass walk up to E)
Let it ring in my ears all these songs I've sung
  Em                                         .                                          Am
Give me the strength to praise you, to speak your name one
Em
more time
            Em                        B7                                        Em
Then have your angels carry me over to the other side

V3
