Because He Loved Me
Verse 1 On a hill called Calvary, Jesus my Lord suffered for me. Carried the cross all the way my sins to atone. Then they nailed Him to a cross, great was the pain and the loss He suffered it all, (He suffered it all) Because He loved me. (Because He loved me.) Chorus Because He loved me, my Savior died, on the cross was crucified No greater love for mortal man has ever been known. Oh praise His dear name, He loved me so, now I am His, He's mine, I know He suffered it all, (He suffered it all) Because He loved me. (Because He loved me.) Verse 2 Then they carried Him away, placed Him in a lonely grave Surely they thought that this would be the end of this man. But on that third and glorious day, God came and rolled the stone away, He rose from the dead (He rose from the dead) Because He loved me (because He loved me). CHORUS: |

God Has Been So Good to Me
Verse 1 I've always had a place to sleep Clothes to wear, food to eat God has been so good to me Thank you Lord for Mom and Dad The best friends on Earth I've had God has been so good to me Chorus: God has been so good to me And I'm thankful for a fine family The little church that I attend And for all my Christian friends God has been so good to me Verse 2 Thank God I live where men are free Where there's love and liberty God has been so good to me If all I had He took away Then I still would have to say God has been so good to me Repeat Chorus God bless! |

I love this song-There's not many songs that is really full of the spirit like this one. Here you go.
Chorus There’s a Man in here who turns water to wine And He walks on the water and gives sight to the blind And He gives back life to the ones that’s dead And He fed five thousand with two fishes and bread There’s a Man in here who makes demons flee Who makes cripples walk and He’s chosen even me He lives in my heart and I have no fear I’m a better man ‘cause there’s a Man in here Verse 1 There’s a Man in here that I’m looking for Cried the man who could find no room at the door So they lowered him down on a stretcher bed And Jesus looked at him and said All your sins are gone now Go this day take up your bed and be on your way As he pressed through the crowd I heard him declare I can tell you all there’s a Man in here Repeat Chorus Verse 2 There’s a Man in here the disciples cried As the ship was tossed from side to side So they woke Him up, as the waves grew high And said don’t you care that we’re about to die And He said peace be still and the winds obeyed He said where’s your faith, why were you so afraid When they saw that sea was smooth and clear They said thank You God that the Man is here Repeat Chorus Tag He lives in my heart I have no fear I’m a better man ‘cause there’s a Man in here |

I penned these down myself, we couldn't find them anywhere and my hubby wanted to sing this at Church. So there could be a couple of mistakes. Enjoy!
That Soldier Was Me In a dream I was there, When they crucified Jesus And in my dream I saw, His great agony And I ran to the man, That was piercing his body And when I pulled him away, That soldier was me Though only a dream, I crucified Je-sus And ‘twas my sins he bore, On Calvary’s tree And when he prayed alone, In Gethsemane’s garden I believe he prayed that night for me, he prayed for me Simon Peter waz there, And his heart was so troubled And many that Jesus, Had touched by the way They beheld their Lord, There bleeding and dying In my dream I could see, That soldier was me Though only a dream, I crucifed Jesus And ‘twas my sins he bore, On Calvary’s tree And when he prayed alone, In Gethsemane’s garden I believe he prayed that night for me, he prayed for me I believe he prayed that night for me, he prayed for me |

Send Down The Fire - The Primitive Quartet bb
bb Send Down The Fire God said He would send down the fire, said He would send it down to Elijah, said He would set the altar on fire. didn’t He say, didn’t He say? Well, Elijah was a Great man of God They tell me, great God that he wandered abroad, No food in the land, no water to drink They tell me great God, he had strength He got food from the ravens and the birds, He got water from the brook, so I heard, Then Elijah went down into Egypt land He found how long the battle would stand Chorus… Well, Elijah said, “Stop, let me show you. A man of God that you ought to know, I’ve heard the Master and I got a request, To build and altar and to have a contest;” So they built an altar of many stones, Mighty men began to moan, They cried, “Baal, send the fire, O, Baal, send the fire,” They cried, “Baal, send the fire, Send the fire from on high. From morning till evening they did cry, Trying to bring down the fire from on high Then Elijah called on the bleeding lamb, The Rose of Sharon, the God on high, Mary’s baby and the Morning Star, God struck the altar in a burning fire, Chorus. |

Go And Tell Jesus On Me
While traveling along down life’s little pathway I’ve stumbled and failed but I’m glad to say The Lord, in my weakness has always been near me Still call my name, each time you pray Go and tell Jesus on me When my faults and failures you see If you are my brother, don’t go tell another Go and tell Jesus on me The Saviour, He died, That we might be pardoned And the nailed Him to an old rugged tree He saved my soul, but each day I still need him So, go and tell Jesus on me. Chorus…. |

Hope this is the one you're looking for.
So Much To Thank Him For Verse 1. When I look around and see the good things He's done for me I know, I'm unworthy of them all. But His blessings, He freely gives, I owe all my life to him. I've got so much to thank Him for. Chorus. I've got so much to thank Him for, so much to praise Him for. Don't you see, He has been so good to me. When I think of what He's done, and where He has brought me from, I've got so much to thank Him for. Verse 2. And sometimes along this way, I stop and I have to say Thank You for all you've done for me. And someday, I'll reach Heaven's shore, and please, Lord let me kneel once more. I've got so much to thank you for. |

IF I COULD TELEPHONE HEAVEN
If I could telephone Heaven, And talk to a loved one up there; I'm sure they would tell of the beauty, That surrounds them in that land so fair. Perhaps they would talk of a river, That flows through that lovely land; I'm sure they would bid me to join them, And stroll once again hand in hand. Every thing here is eternal, Each view is a wonderful sight; The sun here is always shining, In this land there is no night. There's splendor in all directions, Every where your eyes will see; Peace and contentment forever, You'll never long elsewhere to be. If I could telephone Heaven, And talk to a loved one today; "I don't want to go back there", I believe I would hear them say. "For Jesus is all that I need here, Every need has been supplied; The cares of this earth seemed as nothing, When He wiped all those tears from my eyes." Every thing here is eternal, Each view is a wonderful sight; The sun here is always shining, In this land there is no night. There's splendor in all directions, Every where your eyes will see; Peace and contentment forever, You'll never long elsewhere to be. Peace and contentment forever, You'll never long elsewhere to be. |
