My mother in law sang this as her testimony and yhe last verse was:
Jesus one day walked the road up to Calvary.
There he was hung from an old rugged cross.
So that you and I could have life everlasting,
He died there on that cross just to save us from sin.

is anyone sure who exactly wrote it?

The man who wrote [IF I COULD JUST TOUCH THE HEM OF HIS GARMENT] was Glen Rice. He was my pastor for a number of years and very dear friend. His wife name is Ruby. Both are deceased. They were in there late 70's when the spencers were singing it at a concert and stated they diden't know who the author was. There was a man at the concert who knew the Rice's.The spencer's contacted Bro Rice for the copy right and after that the spencer's began to send royalty payments for albums that were sold.Glen and Ruby Rice were pastors at welcome tabernacle holiness church in Stroud Ok. I hope thus is of some help.

I would love the notes to this song.  Everyone that I know that plays it; plays by ear and I play strictly by note.

I COULDN'T FIND THE WORDS, SO I MADE UP MY OWN:

I WANDERED IN SIN   MY ROAD ROUGH AND ROCKY
NO PEACE THERE WITHIN   NO REST FOR MY SOUL
THEN JESUS CAME IN   MY SINS WERE FORGIVEN
ONE TOUCH FROM THE MASTER   AND I WAS MADE WHOLE

I'm looking for an Afrikaans song.  It's got 4 verses only.  No chorus.

Verse 1  :   Vader gee my aandeel, gee my geld en goed.
Gee my wat my toekom, sodat ek kan gaan.

                    .........................................??????
The rest of the song I don't know and would really really love to have the words. Could any body help me please?!

Hi, does anyone have the chords for "One touch (Press)" Nicole Mullen sings it. I would love the chords, any key will do but I think I would sing it in E. Thank you.

It wasn't written by the Spencer's, though they recorded it. I'm more inclined to believe this blog: https://originofsongs.blogspot.com/2012/07/if ...

This site is most helpful. And this is a beautiful song. A dear sister-in-Christ sings this at our church.

Just tonight I heard Pat Garret do a new song he wrote. Does anyone have the lyrics to "I'm Gonna Stand For the Red, White and Blue"? I'm not even certain of the title.
