Hi Guest,

As it turns out, I've posted a PDF and a MIDI file at the blog I maintain sporadically on this very site

Precious Memories Blog

As the blog makes clear, I totally concur with your grandfather and great-grandmother

If you can't access the PDF for any reason, here are the lyrics.

1.
Precious memories, unseen angels
Sent from somewhere to my soul
How they linger, ever near me
And the sacred scenes unfold.

Chorus

Precious memories, how they linger
How they ever flood my soul
In the stillness of the midnight
Precious, sacred scenes unfold.

2.
Precious father, loving mother
Fly across the lonely years
And old home scenes of my childhood
In fond memory appear.

3.
In the stillness of the midnight
Echoes from the past I hear
Old-time singing, gladness bringing
From that lovely land somewhere.

4.
I remember mother praying
Father, too, on bended knee
Sun is sinking, shadows falling
But their prayers still follow me.

5.
As I travel on life's pathway
Know not what the years may hold
As I ponder, hope grows fonder
Precious memories flood my soul.

Hope it helps.

God bless,
Steve

Thank You so Much!!!! I've been waiting here on the computer ever since I posted.  This is truly a blessing, and brings back so many wonderful and sweet memories.  Thank You so much for your time and your wonderful website.  I can't wait to tell my mother about this.

Thanks for these lyrics I sang for my Mother-in-law's funeral but had lost them. God bless you!
