I think this is what you're looking for.

I Came Here To Stay

Now the champion marched for forty days,
Saying “Give me a man to fight.”
The Israelite said “I’ve got a great heart,
“But my feet are full of fright.”
Then a boy with a sling and a pocket full of rocks,
He had to trust and pray.
He said, “Run if you want to, run if you will,
“But I came here to stay.”

CHORUS:
So run if you want to, run if you will,
But I came here to stay.
If I fall down I’m gonna get right up.
Because I didn’t start out to play.
It’s a battlefield, brother,
Not a recreation room.
It’s a fight, it’s not a game.
So run if you want to, run if you will,
But I came here to stay.

Now the boys wouldn’t bow,
And the king got mad.
He said, “Turn that furnace up high;
“Tie them up, throw them in,
“Those Hebrew boys are gonna fry.”
But a little while later he looked in the furnace,
And he heard brother Shadrach say,
“Just pull up your chair and warm your hands,
“Cuz we came here to stay.”

CHORUS

The decree had been signed by the hand of the king.
Daniel couldn’t talk to his Lord.
The hungry lions were pacing him in:
Here comes supper again.
But if you’da been standing anywhere near,
You’da heard brother Daniel say,
“If you’re talking about me, just forget it, boys,
“Cuz I came here to stay.”

CHORUS

Now in these days there’s a whole lot of Christians,
Who just won’t take their stand.
They try to straddle the fence, and play
Both sides if they can.
But I thank God for those folks I meet,
Who aren’t ashamed to say,
“I’m a fundamental, premillenial, independent Baptist,
“And I’m gonna stay that way.”

CHORUS

Paul and Silas were given many stripes and left in the stocks all night
Singing praises to God, till he sent an earthquake, to open up the jail at midnight
The jailor was afraid, tried to take his life away, till he heard the apostle Paul say,
“Put your sword away, and trust in Christ today,
For we’re all here to stay,”
CHORUS

TAG: Run if you want to, run if you will, but I came here to stay.

This is slightly different than the other one posted, it has a different verse. I've always enjoyed this song.
Hope this helps you!

And another verse...

Now they laid our Jesus in a barren grave
With a great big stone at the door.
The Jews were tryin' to stop him.
Didn't wanna hear his preachin' no more.
But the Jews couldn't stop the power of God
That raised our Lord that day.
And because he did we sing this song.
And this is what we'd like to say,
(Repeat after me)
"If you're gonna run (repeat)
You better do it now, (repeat)
'Cause I came here to stay." (repeat)
