I think the name of the song might be No Greater Love. But I can't remember all the words nor who sings it. You can email me at inspiredcreations7@yahoo.com

Hi InspiredCreations7,

Yep--you got the title right. The song is "No Greater Love". The GMWA National Mass Choir sings it.

Verse:
For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only Son.
The Son gave His life for me,
when He died on Calvary.

There is no greater love,
nowhere, you won't find it
than a man would lay down His life for a friend,
there's no greater love, no greater love
than a man would lay down his life for a friend

Chorus 1:
There is no greater love,
there is no greater love,
(there is no greater love)
(no greater love)

Bridge:
No greater love,
no greater love
no greater love
no greater love
(than a man would)
(He would lay down His life for a friend.)
for a friend
for a friend

No greater love,
no greater love,
no greater love,
no greater love.

Vamp 1:
Jesus went to Calvary
to save a wretch,
like you and me;
that’s love, that’s love.
(repeat as directed)

Vamp 2:
They hung Him high,
they stretched Him wide.
He hung His head, for me He died;
that’s love, that’s love.
(repeat as directed)

Vamp 3:
That’s not how the story ends,
three days later He rose again;
that’s love, that’s love
